Cost: $15 for renewed members of the ASFA (all memberships are due to be renewed in January) or $20 for non-members or members that haven’t renewed (Please note the $20 non-member fee is a correction to earlier published posts). Your ASFA dues can be paid prior to the event (see the Membership page for details) or you can pay your dues and the Wedding program fee all at once on the 29th.

PFS Meeting and Valentines show announced
On January 3, the Professional Floral Society held their monthly meeting at Sweet Teas. The manager of Valley Chapel and Mayor of Homewood spoke to the group.
The next meeting will be February 7, again at Sweet Teas. Three designers will showcase their talents with fresh design ideas for Valentines Day. Don’t miss it!

PFS holds annual Christmas party
The Professional Floral Society held their annual Christmas party on Tuesday, December 6, at Serenity House in Springville, AL. The venue was breath taking and would be a perfect spot for a wedding or any other type of celebration. The meeting/party was attended by 22 members, who played Dirty Santa and had some really wonderful food.
The PFS meets on the first Tuesday of each month and is open to any florist located within the NW District. Join this wonderful group and take advantage by attending great meetings and parties like this one! It’s good to have educational workshops and such, but it’s also important to let your hair down and have some fun with other florists. Join the PFS and find out…
